Marsèll was founded in 2001 and immediately standed out for its different approach to the world of footwear, which brings together in a formula happy research and manufacturing tradition. Marsèll is in fact produced entirely by hand and aims to cover the craftsmanship of new concepts, playing with the distortion of the classic. Shoes are first and foremost objects whose imperative is to maintain a tactile solidity that does justice to their use. The design is consequently peaceful, but it is never trivial. The focus is therefore on functionality and in details, from finishing to sculptural heels to the choice of "forcing" the classic form to re-define it, which lurks the research on the product that is synonymous with the philosophy of Marsèll. It is no coincidence that the brand showroom in Milan, inaugurated in 2006, became Marsèlleria three years later, an unconventional space dedicated to contemporary art among the most popular in the city, a multidisciplinary cube that periodically hosts exhibitions and performances.
